      • First responder jobs encompass roles that are typically the first to arrive on site and respond to emergencies, including Law Enforcement, Fire Service, EMS, and 911 dispatchers.

    *Military, First Responder, and/or Small Event Discounts must be applied at the time of booking. Proof of service is required.

  • Yes! Upon booking, we can add any of the following onsite services into your rental to create a custom package:

    • Event Services — Provided by Woodland Sky Studio

  • Absolutely! We love recommending trusted vendors to our couples. Choosing from our preferred and partnered vendor lists ensures a seamless wedding day experience.

    We also welcome outside vendors, provided they meet our vendor requirements and receive approval from venue management.

  • Yes. All vendors on our Recommended and Partnered Lists are pre-approved by WRF. Outside vendors are welcome with management approval and must meet the following:

    • Caterers and Bartending Services must be licensed & insured

    • Day-Of Coordinators must have industry experience

    • DJs must be insured and have industry experience

  • Whispering Ridge clients are allowed to provide alcohol to be served to their guests free of charge. Cash bars are not allowed due to NC law.

    Whispering Ridge Farms is not licensed to serve alcohol, so a NC ABC special event permit is required for each event that is including liquor or high ABV alcohol service. NC law prohibits guests bringing their own alcohol or liquor.

    We recommend consulting with your licensed and insured bartender for their bartending service requirements.

    *Our full alcohol policy is included in our venue rental agreement. We strictly follow NC ABC laws.

  • There are many differences between the two roles. Core differences are below:

    Event Manager - Manages anything venue related & focuses on the safety of the guests and the venue.

    Day-Of Coordinator - Manages all event details & anything in-between vendor roles. Their focus is primarily on the clients, guests, vendors, event timeline, and decor set-up/breakdown.
